Interview debriefs can be conducted via form submissions, meeting discussions, or a combination of both to make hire / no hire decisions based on the feedback collected throughout the hiring process. In some cases, hiring teams may want to schedule follow up conversations with candidates to gather more information before making a final decision.
It is important to initially capture feedback via competency based scorecards from each interviewer as soon as possible following interviews and before any debrief meetings take place. This ensures interviewers have a fresh recollection of the candidate’s answers, and that initial impressions about the interview are not influenced by the other panelists.
Use this debrief guide to get feedback over email, or build your own using a Google Form.
